When Tradition and technology meet

Our mission is simple. We want to help you get out there, stay active and see the world in a way that complements your lifestyle.

Instead of creating another run-of-the-mill e-bike, we wanted to do something different. Many electric bikes on the market are expensive. We knew we could create affordable and dependable e-bikes that met the demands of your everyday exercise and mobility needs.

As our name suggests, we were also inspired by the emu. This large flightless bird can travel a great distance without difficulty. We took that brilliance from nature and created a range of cost-effective and quality electric bikes that empower you to go further, just like the emu.

We’re not new to the e-bike game. We’ve been around since 2014, so you can trust the Emu Bikes name. Our range is researched, designed and made by some of the best e-bike specialists in the UK and Europe.

Beautifully balanced

With Emu Bikes, you won’t see a big battery pack stuck on the front or back of our e-bikes. Our batteries are in-built within the frame itself for a perfectly balanced biking experience. Having the battery on top of an electric bike can affect how it handles – it may feel too weighty in the front or back. By choosing an in-frame design, our e-bikes are stabilised for an even ride. Plus, this allows our range to retain its traditional style. Integrating the battery within the frame also provides more protection. 

Premium quality components

Using Samsung battery cells, our electric bikes offer a more efficient ride. Thanks to their long-lasting range, with an Emu e-bike you can cycle for longer before you need to charge it again. All our bikes feature Tektro brakes to provide you with consistent stopping power. Plus, they’re easy to remove and adjust, as well as simple to reinstall and maintain.

We don’t believe in expensive extras. Emu Bikes feature puncture-resistant tyres, a chain guard and a plush seat as standard, so you can experience a comfortable ride that offers peace of mind. 

Delivery is free on all Emu Bikes*. Plus, we provide a minimum of one-year free warranty on our electric bikes.
