EMU bikes – making family outings more enjoyable for everyone

We’ve all been there, right? There’s always one member of the family who’s more ‘into’ cycling than the other(s), isn’t there? The gentle jaunt in the country becomes a battle to catch up with The Speedy One, which isn’t fun at all.

Whether you’re trying to keep up with the kids, who seem to be taller and faster than you these days, or if the children have flown the nest and you’re doing your best to find a shared hobby with the other half, buying an electric bike could be the best decision you’ve made this year!

So, what’s stopping you?

I don’t want to stand out as someone who can’t keep up

With an electric bike from EMU electric bike company, to the untrained eye it’s not easy to see that it’s electric. Effectively, you’re buying a stylish, elegant bike with the added bonus of a bit of battery-power when you need it.

I want to maintain my fitness

If you’re taking up cycling in a bid to stay fit, you’ll be pleased to know that not all of our of our customers use the maximum power level the whole time they’re out and about – on the hard hills or for the last few miles when they’ve run out of energy (or, of course, as a little boost to keep up with The Speedy One!).

I’d like to try before I buy

We understand that you may want to ‘touch and feel’ or even have a trial ride before you splash out. For that reason, we have a carefully curated list of stockists and demonstration sites across the country for you to visit (LINK). Staff at these locations will be happy to demonstrate the features of our e bikes or alternatively you can try the bike at home and return it within 14 days if it doesn’t suit (though we’re sure it will!).

The price

As with many things, when e bikes were first launched there was an inflated price that only the real trailblazers were willing to pay for the joy of being an early adopter. Many of our customers are pleasantly surprised when they learn that an EMU Classic electric bike will only set them back £1299-£1499 (including the battery).

Of course, if you or a family member has a Cycle to Work (CTW) scheme through an employer, then there are great savings to be made, and e bikes are included. If you’re keen to stay active but also want to enjoy the experience, an e bike could be the perfect investment.
